VOTE411

Educate. Participate. Advocate.

The Vote411 Online Voter Guide is a national LWV voter and election information guide available to the public. It includes links to a variety of sites related to voting in your zip code and, during election periods, candidate information. It’s also available in Spanish.

It provides nonpartisan information to the public with both general and state-specific information on many aspects of the election process, including absentee ballot information, election dates, polling place locations, registration deadlines, voter qualifications, and more. You can watch the video below in Spanish here.

Get online. Get the facts. And make your voice heard on Election Day.

Specific links and information on Vote411 include:

  • Where you can vote – a link to the Buncombe Board of Elections with early and election day voting sites.
  • Whether you are registered – a link to a state Board of Elections tool where you can look up your registration status.
  • What are the responsibilities of the elected office for which candidates are running.
  • What candidates are running for which office in your zip  code, their contact information, and what each of them has to say in response to questions the League has asked them. Vote411 users should be aware that it is up to the candidates to respond to the League’s invitation to participate and some choose not to. In that case, Vote411 provides contact information and indicates the candidate chose not to participate.
