She was a newspaper reporter in South Carolina prior to graduate school at Cornell. At Elon\, she teaches students how to be thoughtful and ethical creators of news. She’s the author of Detecting Deception: Tools to Fight Fake News and the host of the podcast UnSpun\, which focuses on media literacy. \nThis is a Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81902092247) presentation at 7 pm and is not limited to League members.
